After a fantastic weekend, big changes are on the way for Central Florida.

Clouds, showers and even a few thunderstorms return Monday. After seeing some sun returning Tuesday and most of Wednesday, another round of showers moves in on Thursday. We will turn a bit cool after the second front with mid-60s expected for highs through the end of the week.

For the overnight, clouds will slowly build, but we will stay warm thanks to the south winds. Our lows will average around 60. Winds out of the south at 10-15 mph. Rain showers start to spread across the area on Monday morning. They will start in our northern counties and spread southward bringing pockets of heavy rain. A few thunderstorms are also possible. The biggest threats from the storms will be gusty winds and heavy downpours. The showers shift to our south as we head into the evening. Northwest winds behind the front will dry us out, but cool us off by Tuesday morning. Lows will be in the low- to mid-40s for most areas. Some 30s are possible in our northern counties.

Quiet weather sticks around for Tuesday and most of Wednesday. Late on Wednesday and into Thursday, another storm system moves in with rain and a few more thunderstorms. After it passes south of us on Friday, we dry out again with chilly nights and mild afternoons.
