Deputies with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office are investigating an early morning shooting along Howell Branch Road in Winter Park.
Deputies responded to reports of shots fired at Howell Branch Road and Jergo Road around 5:30 a.m., said Kristen Bentsen, of the Seminole County Sheriff's Office.
A person who was shot was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
It's believed that the victim and the shooter know each other, Bentsen said.
The area is in the unincorporated portion of Winter Park.
