An Orange County father was arrested Sunday night after police said he was driving drunk with his children in the in the car and hit another vehicle.
Carlos Reyes, 45, faces multiple counts of child abuse and DUI related charges.
The Orlando Police Department said he hit a car on Conroy Road and President Barack Obama Parkway after taking the 12 and 15 year-old children to an outlet mall on I-Drive.
Police said he then he drove off and the driver of the other vehicle had to chase him down.
Officers arrived and questioned the children who told investigators Reyes had been drinking before taking them to the mall and afterward.
